My new Precihole Taurus .22 Air pistol

Hi all
I just bought my Precihole Taurus .22 airpistol yesteray and boy its amazing. Its almost 300 gms lighter, lot sturdier and damn accurate as compared to the IHP model. Its USPs are its ergonomic grip and safety catch, which are otherwise a rare feature in any of the Indian airpistols. I am just waiting for precihole to come out with a pneumatic airpistol for serious target shooting. Way to Go Precihole

Congrats on your new acquisition!!!!!!!!
Its ergonomically designed, sleek and accurate....
If you can add on a 'Red Dot' sight - its an amazing air pistol to shoot with :D
Happy Shooting!

Hi Briha Sir,
Is there any provision of adding red dot sight on this AP ? Or one has to go for milling grooves on it ?

Milling the groove would mean a precision job - instead would recommend fixing a small scope rail!

I had picked up one as well and given my initial impressions in the other thread. Ive since put around 350-400 shots through it and its settled in well. Still have to fine tune the sights a bit more for accuracy.

Congratulations on your purchase. I am from Chandigarh and have been trying to purchase one. Currently it not available with any of the dealers in Chandigarh. Could anybody help where can I get it from.

You are a proud owner of the best Indian air pistol around and I'm sure with proper love and care can be passed on to the next generation. That's really great. Do enjoy plinking and safe shooting.

Hi all, after using the pistol for close to 6 months now,few negative observations first. The front sight came off the very next week during cocking the gun with the given lever. Its damn loose and could not be fixed even with the tightening screw. Secondly, the synthetic seal got damaged in less than a month. This kind of product from a reknowned brand was never expected by me. When I contacted the dealer,he says its an Indian pistol, not imported and that I'll have to get it repaired myself. I went to a remote location for my official assignment and when I came back, my warranty was over. Now I am stuck with this piece of plastic and metal, waiting for time to get it repaired. Precihole seriously needs better quality control it seems now.

Happy Birthday Alameinite

If you study the exploded parts diagram on PH website, you'll find that the pistol is easy to strip and reassemble. Only a small spring compressor is necessary. Or since it is a pistol it should be easy ( size wise ) to send it to the PH factory for servicing. I suggest the first option even if you never stripped a pistol or rifle. You will learn about the internals and assembling. Even if it is the first time you have to do it sometime. Why not now?

Alameinite, try contacting PH directly. Their customer service should be better than any dealer's, by all accounts.
