Hello, I recently brought back to india an Umarex airsoft,
Revolver 8 inch, wich 6mm plastic pellets.
However as it's a 4j, you can't use it in airsoft games as the limit is 1j.
So i reached mumbai airport early morning, and to not take any risk I went by myself to the custom to say that i have an airsoft (wich is not a real firearms obviously)
The guy then took me to a room where he showed me at least 40 confiscated airsoft guns. He said it's strict now.
Finally after explaining him that it's not a real one, he let me go after obviously taking 100% taxes.
So i think airsoft can pass in checked in luggage, however be ready to pay taxes on it.
I regret a little bit, because as I live in mumbai now, there is no place to play it.
So at the end of the day I have a kicks revolver wich is new and that I won't be able to use because there is not airsoft clubs here!!!
