thanks for all your support for my earlier post in regards to gd-600 now am in need of your help. one of my friend is coming from USA by next month i had asked him to get me a scope for me which would be purchased by amzon.com can the scope be carried or do i need any sort of documents to be shown. am completely not aware of any such procedure like share me your suggestions & experience

Depends. 2 of my scopes came through check in luggage without a question asked. Another came through courier, was opened by Mumbai customs, and was delivered 15 days later. Again no questions asked. However, some peoples scopes were confiscated. Just be bold go ahead. The probability of it coming through is more.

I have also got two scopes through checked in baggage and there was no issue getting it in.
