Thanks bhira .I'm purchasing ESA model 35 at Rs 6100. I asked the seller and he said it fires are 450 fps. Can any one tell me if 450fps is good for .22?
And how much distance will it cover in this cal. And 450fps?

@Suyas - Why dont you try the IHP-35 or Precihole in .22?
They would be a much better AR, they are tested & proven models and for sure they deliver the best.
Precihole might be a bit expensive if you have budget constraints.
There are other wonderful options like AK-Agni, SDB, etc. for which many of the IFGians have great regards for.
Do not get deceived by the bells and whistles that these ARs comes with.
Am not sure about the quality and promises of this particular AR, have never heard of it.
You can give this ESA-35 a try, if you wish to.

My Orion, SDB 65 and IHP 35 give about 500 to 600 fps depending on the pellet. My old SDB 50 serviced by me used to give me 450 fps but was extremely accurate and a pleasure to shoot.
However if I am lucky I should have a Crony in my hands in a couple of weeks and then I will post the true muzzle velocities of these rifles.
These pellets can travel 300 meters at least, probably more, but effective shooting range will be about 30-50 meters.

There is no real point in having the distance covered by the pellet unless it carries enough energy to 'act' on the target.
You have to make up your mind on the purpose of getting the AR.
If its target shooting and plinking, you would not need to look for more than 20 to 30 meters, unless you mount a scope.
And if you are very particular about the 'distance a pellet can travel, all I can do is quote a statement made by another fellow IFGian in another post- "If you shoot at an angle of 45degree in an open ground, you can make the pellet travel the maximum distance the AR can send it, but you will find a great difficulty in finding the pellet".
So for normal use, your AR should do the job, Since you already made the purchase and its reaching you soon, there is hardly anything you can do, unless its Cash on Delivery.
You should have done due diligence by doing analysis of the AR and options before finalizing.
And once you get the AR, if you are not satisfied with the performance, you still have options to upgrade them by changing a few parts, like main spring, piston seal, breech seal, etc. Trigger change may not be possible though, it depends on the scalability of the AR. For all these you might have to take the service of a gunsmith.
Anyways All the Best with your new AR.
Let us know your experience with the rifle and your review on the same, with lots of photos.

So I received my order today... It is really a great AG
It looks great. I'm posting pic.It fires at a great velocity (more than 450fps I think).it's extremely powerful. It is very accurate till 20 Yards(I've not tried more than that).Cocking was hard as hell but I got used to it. I bought it from flipkart for Rs 6100,but its actual price is 5000 (at gun kart. com).So I took a risk but it was worth it . So overall it is a powerful, accurate and very good looking gun.
Hey I'm not able to post images

Good to see that you are happy and satisfied with your AirGun.
Initially you might feel a little difficulty in cocking the rifle, but the fun and enthusiasm will overpower that soon, hope you would have realized that by now.
Awaiting a few good snaps and hands-on review of the AR.

By the way what is this "gun kart. com" that you have referred to in your post?

Hi Suyash, are you referring to "airgunkart.com"?
This is the first time I have come across this website. Seems to be a Meerut, UP based airgun dealer, and the website says they sell several ESA models, and are into importing airguns too.

Gun kart . com is a good website for buying airguns online. It is owned by the seller from whom I bought my ESA AG from flipkart.Airgun kart sells AG at a reasonable price, although shipping charges are high. I'm sorry I can't understand how to post photos, but soon I'll make a YouTube video of its review. And I'm really enjoying the rifle
