Dear Members,

Finally took delivery of my brand new FWB Sport and am putting the pictures for you all to enjoy. I was told that this of one of the first 3 rifles imported into India and IT IS BEAUTIFUL. The attention to detail , quality of workmanship is exemplary , I have the Diana 460 Magnum but this FWB is at another level . It is very light( as compared to the Diana) to hold and sits very comfortably on my arms. Waiting to shoot it this Sunday.

Regards,

Chicky

@chicky,
Congratulations on your new acquisition. Read your earlier comments, i believe no one reverted as this a rather new model and very few guys must be having any experience with it here. Else the members here are a 'happy to help' kind of lot :)

Do post up on your shooting experience with it. :cheers:

Dear ckkalyan,

Thanks for your kind words am indeed fortunate to possess this wonderful product. Meanwhile, shot a few pellets yesterday and am pleased to inform you that the gun is very accurate and powerful.( At 8 meters it punched a hole in a "finger thick plyboard ' with an 8 gm H&N wadcutter.) The tigger is fantastic and love the thick safety knob. But then it should be...it's a Feinwekbau ! Though, I do feel that being the amongst the costliest springers available, they could have made the stock in Walnut. Cost cutting at this level in not expected.

Best

Chicky

Sorry Chicky , I kind of missed this post . I must say you have made the wise choice of purchasing a FWB Sport.

I have a Feinwerkbau Sport 124 Deluxe model back in India , which I bought in USA in good nick , FWB didnt restarted manufacturing sport by that time, so I had to buy it used, but someone truly said , its is the Rolls Royace of break barrel Air rifle indeed. You never find a more accurate Break Barrel with decent velocity till date. Its still used same match barrel that FWB used in their competition line with 0.04" c-t-c accuracy. FWB 124/Sport produce one hole group just like any other match rifle , I have a FWB 601 too and both of them are equally accurate.

Trigger is two stage adjustable and crisp for a Break Barrel rifle , you might felt little recoil due to its 800+ FPS velocity, which can be further reduced using Jim Maccari Kit specifically designed for FWB Sport. Only thing you should pay attention that this a very hold sensitive rifle , so you have to hold exactly the same way everytime to produce a one hole group.

Only thing I would love to change in this rifle is its plastic rear sight, other than that there is absolutely no cons IMHO.

Congratulation on your new purchase and believe me , its a all time classic rifle, and you wont find any better blend of power and accuracy in break barrel category than this. Even when comparing with all other European and American brand ;)
