Wana buy IHP/same good brand 25mt Air rifle pls help

Hi Guys ,
I am new to this forum. Recently started to this Sport . Its just hobby purpose.
I have gone through lot of blogs and webs .
Requesting you experts help.
buying Criteria
1.I wana go with any 25 mtr range air gun 0.177 calibre /0.22 ( pls suggest)
2. IHP 25 or 35 ? any model in budget.
3. my budget is below 7-8K all required accessories ( gun,cover,pellets, pellet trap etc) as I will practice that on my terrace.
4. Most important I am still confuse that IHP35/25 required any license / permissions..
On this forum if anybody want to sell / almost new kind good airgun pls suggest.
Note:- My 8 yrs son also wana play with that. he like shooting..

Welcome to IFG Chetanmayekar
IHP25 in 0.177 cal will be the better option within your budget and shooting space available . moreover your son too can handle ihp25 as its weight is less compared to others and you dont need licence for buying/using 'airguns'.

At Rs 4600, I found the SDB 65 to be a powerful and accurate 0.22 rifle ordered online from

Not suitable for 8 year olds.

A suggestion.... if your kid wants to shoot, you cock and hold the gun. Never let him aim and shoot by himself (anyway an 8 year old cocking and shooting a spring piston AR needs to be named Kal El!!).

If you are looking at IHP as a entry level air gun then SDB 65 is better in .22, moreover as bennedose has found out the rifle's tastes for pellets are humble.

Thanks guys I am going with M25 as suggested. If anyone can suggest good accessories like Pellets (make?) , Pellet trapper(any DIY?) and covers

I have both , National 25 and SDB45.
N25 is very easy to operate due to less weight and soft cocking.It is a nice rifle.
But when it comes to consistency, accuray and power....SDB by far stands out.
For an eight year old boy...none matches a National 25.
