Panks, you have sure succeeded in becoming a tease :D
Do post pictures of your rifle. Also a small write up on the difference the custom parts have made would be nice along with the regular data of pellets used, grouping size and fps.

Cheers!

As your setup is in .22 you would be in the 70~80fpe range, should be spitting the 32.4 eun jins at speeds above 1000 fps and below 1100 fps.
If your doing slugs then even better.
With the standard tank and if its in the above power range you should be getting around 20 consistent shots before the curve develops.
Don't think there's something heavier there in the pellet selection.
The pointed's surprisingly perform well with the condors.
To each barrel there is always a favorite pellet, so try the heavies available and you will enjoy this rig.

And yes your gunsmith is Tony :)

Cheers and enjoy safe shooting......

Impressive figures. For the price, these rifles seem like extreme value even after considering the lack of magazine and somewhat odd cheek rest due to the tank.
Plus, the 20 shots must be on full power so at something like 30fpe, the shot count should also considerably increase.
@panks, do arrange to get this rifle to mumbai. I am sure we can find space to shoot it.

spot on Pramod, I am using Eun jins , Beeman Kodiak extra heavy and predator hunting pellets. The lighter pellets just fly out around 1400 to 1500 fps I think.
the eun jins work the best in this rig.

I am sure you have got some work done by TONY too. LOL

Cheers

hi kshitij

With the power dialed down, you an easily get over 100 shots. Full power on this rig is crazy. you would never need it. you can down a wild boar with eun jin and full power. sounds crazy but true that's the kind of power it has, Pramod can throw more technical light.
By the way Pramod, the hammer has also been done by TONY that's the reason it gives more consistent shots, I am attaching the pic of the hammer as well

cheers

That's what I do too chief, tune and mods for Airforce Airguns and so I could tell you. Have been working on them for 5+ years now.
Working on them, its easy to say whose works it is, as there are few names when it comes to mods on airforce.
Tony is a pro with Airforce airguns and knows his way around them.

You would get a lot many shots dialing the power wheel down, adjusting the pre load on the hammer. But from what I have learnt it good to set the condor to 'one power setting' and leave it there. Now what's that one power setting. Best way to find that out is to fill at different pressure levels and keep adjusting the power wheel as you shoot over the chrony to get constant results. (Assuming that you have already upgraded the hammer) Too much hammer is not good and too less will also affect what you want to achieve. There are so many permutations and combination with the condor that the discussion can be endless. You change one component and you have to start over again. If you change too many components then you would not know what exactly triggered the change. As the condor is not a regulated gun, you can get a good bell curve. Fastest way to achieve that is a chrony. It's a painful or I would rather say a very patient task to get those perfect results. This is where tuners like tony come into play. They tune the gun to a certain power and give you promising results at a certain power with a good shot string, so that you don't have to go through the painful...aaah patient task. And of course you pay the price for the same. And then you have an array of mods depending on how deep your pockets are.

To summarize I would say that if you want a rig that shoots at mid power, accurate, more number of shots there would be a preset power level where it would perform the best. And for high power another power range to which it was tuned.

There is a another long story to the mid power, accurate, more number of shots.....some other day... :) .
