Dear All,

I dont know if posting this topic is valid here, but I could not stop my joy of sharing this moment here. This Diwali, during Vijaya Dashami (Dasara) Aayudh Pooja festival my father allowed me to keep my collection of air guns and pistol along with our traditional weapons. Sharing photos of this event with the hope that next year I would be able to double my collection with the support and guidance of air gun lovers here.
Included AR are
IHP .22
UTA .22
Pistol APPu .22

Thanks
Milind

Nice collection
If I am not mistaking this weapons are related to Yudh kala (Marathi Martial Art).

Hi milind,
nice collection. Nice air rifles.
Your family collection is awesome. I really love the antiques.

Can you shed some history on them?

Dear Sanjay ji, the bows and arrows are from Chhattisgarh which is mainly tribal belt. Since CG is very near to Nagpur (my home town) and I know the people who prepare these Bows and Arrows traditionally, I got it prepared for myself.
@ Samrat, yes all these weapons are real and belong to Marathas. I am well-versed in a few martial art techniques like Silambam (dravidian stick fighting martial art), Sword and Pata fighting. You can see my video on youtube

My father is having awesome collections of weapons and antiquities, he is very renowned archaeologist and numismatist. I wold love to post some photos but not sure if it is valid to post.

Love
Milind
