Help wrt NRAI membership n other queries
Hi fellow IFGians,
m new to this forum so may be asking few questions which may have been answered before but hoping u guys spare my ignorance n help me out.
Firstly : M currently residing at Alwar, rajasthan, getting a membership of RRA seems to be simply impossible after 2 months of trying, I am now planning to apply for NRAI membership, I need two current members to propose my name, can any of u help me out in that...and after that how long does it take to get the membership.
Secondly: I am planning to import a Ruger Air magnum Springer 0.177 rifle... Its rated at 1400 fps and muzzle energy of almost 24 ftlb with 10.65 gr pellets ... I do know the tradeoff between magnum power n accuracy...but i wouldn't like to settle for nything less. Is there any air rifle available in india with similar specs. If yes that would save me a lot of headache trying import the ruger.
Thirdly: How reliable is relish sports.com is it advisable to import the air rifle via the same?
Hoping u guys help me out...thanks

Have dealt with relish sports multiple times. Imported my Airgun through relish a year back. Zafar seems to be a reliable guy. But the customs have been a tad rough with all shipments. A membership is mandatory to import a .177 airgun. Import procedure even through relish with a membership will take a month or more. Usually rifle clubs don't give membership that easily now a days. You need to go register, practice there regularly before they hand you the card. This was done since a lot of people took the memberships only to import a gun thereby causing problems. So now clubs don't give out cards that easily.
