Dear all ,
I call it a new breed because this gun does not have any name printed on it.
'S' stands for SDB who made the gun.
'N' stands for age old IHP National barrel /back sight in .177.
'45' stands for its better quality .
This gun has got the swept volune of 46 cc and usually untuned stage.
Speciality is that it is zero tolerance gun as such expected to be very very accurate.
Out of the box velocity -GSFH- upto 680 fps.8.2grns
USPH- upto 780 fps.6.8 grans
Cocking effort -32 lbr (approx)
I can not post pics. so I request Sathya to post the pics as early as possible along with his candid comments.

Sorry for the delay in posting the pictures
Posting this on behalf of BASU sir.
Here are the pictures of the rifle as follows
The Rifle

Since the special feature of the rifle is the addition of the IHP barrel

Hinge

This rifle has my favorite old model Metal Front sight

Synthetic rear sight

It also has a Peep Sight fixed

Now the Velocity comes into the Subject
NOTE: This rifle is not yet tuned.

Accuracy (Rifle not tuned)

My suggestion is that if this rifle is tuned it will give out further better results for sure.

Dear Sathya,
I am thankful to you for helping me out.
This gun showed me the promise of accuracy of IHP barrel as well as craftsmanship of SDB main machinist.
This is the fourth and last AR and I am quite content.

Basu

Note- Aforesaid grouping is done with bench rest only.

While most of the people turn down guns & gun loving people , there are still some who stand high like the beacon of tolerance, involving their ingenuity & innovative techniques to lead the race and show the folks that there are more to be and can be achieved. I believe IFG was given an unyielding platform wherein these like minded folks can gather, exchange & formulate their creative ideas in to breathe taking innovative structures. There are lot of names that can be taken.... but with this SN -45 ( or rather what I wanted to name it :P ) I think you have joined that league of creators.

So kudos to you & all members of IFG.....Keep these coming folks ... as no one knows when a new brand of world class AR might come up naming IFG – 1 :D... well just a thought..

Hi Basu,
> Congrats on creating this 'Hybrid'
> The initial performance seems good...
> Perhaps after about 1000 pellets, the accuracy & velocity may even improve...
> Best Luck :D

Congratulations Sir on your new acquisition. The very grouping is clear indication of its accuracy .After break-in period its accuracy along with velocity will definitely improve .Sir don't mind , but it should be named as SNB -45,S for sdb,N for national,B for BASU sir, the creator of this mutant.

Dear Targetpoint,
Thanks for the noble advice. It is a mere breed of National Barrel, rear sight and rest all from SDB 45.
I have hardly any contribution to that.

Please see latest update in following thread.....

Expecting your advice and comment.
