Hi all,
I am planning to buy my first air gun. Since i am not in a financial position to import an Airsoft Sniper i am trying to compensate with Indian Version
My plan is to buy I.H.P - 25 AIR RIFLE. My question is
1) Can we fit a scope on this?
2) Is milidot scopes available in India?
3) Where will i get this?
Please i am too new to this.

1. I don't think you have a rail on this gun. You will have to use Araldite to fix the rail first to mount the scope.
2. Don't think so. Importing is the only option. Even if some armory shops have them, they will quote crazy prices, probably costs you more than the gun.

Yes i had a talk with their customer service executive and I was pretty much impressed the way she explained everything to me. I am going for NX100 and the funny part is I went to buy the gun in one of the store in Bangalore. The previous night the store was swept clean by robbers. Now i am waiting to get the store re-stoked. They have promised me to get me some scopes under 6K. Fingers crossed

Which store was that, if I may ask. Please PM me if you don't want to put the name out on the forum. Gun shop being burgled at election time sounds serious.

RT nagar? That must be Olive Planet. They don't sell firearms - so their security may have been lax.

Hmmm you know Bangalore very well
. Mostly the robbers took the Guns and expensive pellets. So they are people who know about brands.

This news may be the same..
http://m.timesofindia.com/city/bangalor ... 364616.cms
BANGALORE: Shooting classes and Hollywood movies made them crazy about military equipment and guns. Sadly, it also drove the four PUC students to steal eight air rifles and other equipment from a store. They were arrested by JP Nagar police when they were fleeing with the loot.
Police said M Bharath Kumar, S Vijay Kumar, R Manoj Kumar and Lakshmi Shah, all 19, are students of city colleges and part of NCC units.
A night patrol team came across the students carrying a heavy sports bag. The boys claimed it was sports equipment but when cops opened the bag, they found rifles and took the students into custody.
During interrogation, students confessed they had broken into Olive Planet, a store in HMT Layout, RT Nagar, which sold military equipment, including air rifles. They stole eight air rifles, ammunition, a laptop, boots and watches from the store.
They said they got interested in shooting during college exercises. They went to a rifle academy which insisted they have their own air rifles. The boys learnt that air rifles cost between Rs 10,000 and Rs 18,000. Police said the boys are from wealthy families, but their parents didn't give them money to buy guns.
The boys decided to buy the rifles, anyway. They found about Olive Planet, the online portal selling military gear and went through the product list. They landed up at its retail store in RT Nagar, smashed the window and gathered everything they could in a sports bag before fleeing. The boys were sent to judicial custody.

Is this a case of "Poor Parenting"???

Brihaji, nope. This is "anti" parenting. I am sure these parents will buy them i-phones at the drop of a hat.
I know a few otherwise highly intelligent and highly educated couples who do not watch any action movie, do not buy the kid even cap guns at Diwali, Holi pichkaris shaped like guns, video games with even a tiny amount of violence, etc. Might be coincidence, but almost all of them I know are from Bangalore, pretty well to do, and work in software!!
You'll find their shelves full of books like last 7 years issues of "Modern Parenting", and all other gadgets and gizmos guaranteed to raise a generation of wimps and sissies (no offense to anybody with "different" views!).
