In my opinion Blanca is a copy of a Marksman Air Pistol. I never seen or fired a Blanca but had a Marksman 1010 pistol in 1982 or 1983 which cost me some US $ 15-00 or so at that time and I think at that time 1 US $ = INR 20-00 approximately. If the Blanca and the Marksman 1010 are the same mechanically then I wouldn't touch it with a long pole. The Marksman 1010 was a 10 shot gravity fed 10 shot BB repeater, single shot 0.177" pellet and air gun dart gun.It has a tip up smooth bore brass barrel of length about 1" or 1.5".( I don't really remember ). Accuracy was that with air gun darts I could hit a within a 6" circle at a range of 5 feet. Forget about hitting anything with steel BBs and lead pellets at any range except within 3 feet. That pistol half cocked on the rearward pull of the slide and full cocked on the forward push of the slide and has a dual opposing spring system inside. After a couple of weeks of frustration and an incident that took place which I don't want to tell, I disassembled it and thrown it into a canal that flows by my home town. The primary reason of my purchasing it after seeing its picture in a Service Merchandise Catalog was because it resembled a COLT 45 Pistol and I had no idea of how poor and dangerous a harmless looking air pistol of lowest power and price could be.And I was a fresh engineering graduate at that time. That pistol taught me the lesson of my life about shooting.
