Hi,
Nowhere on the forum was i able to find a dedicated thread to maintenance of .177 airguns, so I started this to help me and others in similar dilemma. First I know i need to apply pellgun oil on Co2 cylinder but where can i buy one from in delhi or outside within India, is it safe to order it online through courier, I don't want to be involved in customs. Second what kind of cleaning kit do i require to clean and maintain this gun (Pallet Beretta 92fs) and where can i find one in Delhi. Third if anyone could guide me to a good gunsmith who can do the servicing for me would be great. The guy i bought this from was though a very nice guy but had no knowledge of gun/airguns, he didn't know Beretta was Double action, he asked me to use rust lick on co2 cylinder before installing. So i am totally freaked out about maintenance. The thing is he might have given me a used gun since there's some silver on the hammer which shouldn't be considering its a new gun. Anyway i love it now so i don't care about it much just that i want to maintain this gun and get it cleaned and serviced asap. Please do share the necessary info.

Relish Sports has pellgun oil (relishsports.com) and recently have added a RWS .177 cleaning kit. They are reliable and i buy my stuff from them. Came to know of them from a respected member of this forum and have not regretted it.

BD - Relish currently don't sell Pellgun oil instead they added RWS cleaning kit.

As per the relish website the rws is 4k which I think is alot for a basic cleaning and maintenance. doesn't detail out the Liquid too. I just ordered Ballistol universal 50 ml oil for barrel and basic gun cleaning, i also ordered scheibe vaseline greese 50ml for the slide. Plus i was delighted to find a fellow member from this forum who could arrange crossman pellgun oil which m planning to use for co2, around O rings, barrel.
Please guide me the dos and donts. Where all ballistol can be applied on an airgun?
Can i use ballistol on co2 cannisters tip?
If above method am planning is correct then now i just need a metal rod for cleaning purpose, i think cotton hanky with a rod should be good for this job?

Please check with pyramid air first if they are shipping stuff to India. I recently heard from them that they stopped shipping to India.

I am actually facing a problem with my gun. Its not shooting at all. I took it out after a gap of say 1.5 months ofcourse i kept it cylinder less. Now when i insert cylinder and check it sounds fine after a few mins i insert pallete and shoot all i hear is a blank click. Trigger gets jammes for some minutes then gets free but all it does is clicks.. I changed two cylinders and both were full and ejected enormous amounts of gas. So cylinders r fine. I hope the pin hasnt broken. What can be wrong? Anyone has any knowledge let me know. Also if anyone knows a good repair maintenance person for air pistols in delhi plz do pass on the cobtact it ll be much appreciated.

Have you checked that the barrel is clear? No pellets stuck in it? Try also cleaning the magazines with an earbud / Q-Tip. If the barrel is clear, then maybe the orange rubber gasket is faulty, dried up? This needs to be kept slightly moistend to avoid deterioration of the rubber.
