Hai all,
I have been a huge fan of .177 air rifles, I had a 35 .177 for 6 months two years back. But was on a situation to sell it. So i was thinking of buying a IHP 35 .177 since then, recently bought a IHP 35 .22 air rifle (Review video is already posted) but was not impressed with the rifle when comparing my .22 cal Ak air rifle.
So sold it and Now I have bought a IHP 35 .177
In addition to that I got a Old model IHP 35 stock alone, Which has a thinner grip area compared to the new version. I love it!
So i refurbished the stock to look like new, And the combination makes me feel so happy.
i would like to add some photos of my rifle. and performance
There were only three rifling grooves inside the barrel wonder why?
And now some works done
Fitted a ventilated rubber pad
And opened up my rifle and lubricated it,
I had a Tune kit bought from Target tune India, Which was used for more than 1000 shots in my .22 IHP
Fitted them inside (Apex seal was not available so used Factory Seal only)
And Calculated fps of the rifle after and before tuning (Using Audacity) "Thanks to briha sir and Bennedose sir for teaching this technique"
BEFORE TUNING (Just took three shots)
Pellet: Gsmith Amature
1: 578 fps
2: 559 fps
3: 565 fps
Average: 567 fps
Pellet: MasterShot (White box)
1: 572 fps
2: 592 fps
3: 578 fps
Average: 580 fps
After Tuning (Took Five Shots for each)
Pellet: Gsmith Amature
1: 674 fps
2: 607 fps
3: 703 fps
4: 684 fps
5: 793 fps
Average: 692 fps
Pellet: MasterShot (White box)
1: 693 fps
2: 734 fps
3: 757 fps
4: 793 fps
5: 757 fps
Average: 747 fps
Results were nearly consistent after Tune.
Still Piston Seal has to be changed and a good new spring will surely increase the results I believe.
Shot Some groupings after Tuning
Distance: 10 Yards (Measured Eactly) from the muzzle of the gun to the Target
Position: Standing
10 shot group
Zeroed with Gsmith pellets only.
Pellets Used
1: MastterShot Pellets
2: Gsmith Pellets
Comparision
So That's it!
