Quality change in Gsmith Pellets

Hi,
I recently went to pick up a box of Gsmith .177 pellets - on opening the tin i noticed that the pellets were more shiny than usual (did not have the dull grey as they usually do) and also that the quality was a little lesser than the older batches.
I was looking at hollow points and it seemed that the hollow in the head was wider than earlier and there was definitely some rough edges.
I think they are adding more Tin / Antimony and that explains the color.
Any views?
