RWS 54 tuning kit issue ....

I fitted a V Mach kit in my RWS 54 airgun today . Now pulling the cocking lever needs more strength that earlier - actually much more .And then it doesn't cock so I disassembled and removed the two pre-compression washers but still it doesn't cock .
While I pull the cocking lever to the rear end and I pulled the trigger slightly and then there was a click sound then it is cocked . Again I pulled the lever to the rear end but it wont cock . Only after a slight pressure to the trigger it will cock .
What could be the problem and how do I rectify this.Did I damage the trigger assembly ?
Help solicited . Thanks.
> The answer to this problem was that the spring length had to be reduced by "One Coil"
> You may Google your query for further advice....

I used a .22 diana 54 with a v mach kit, was a pleasure to use.
Years ago I received a used Venom Vantage (basically a HW77 fully customised by V mach with custom stock) as a gift. I sent it to V Mach and had it completely done up with new internals, re blue, engraving, reworked trigger etc. Its a real pleasure to use. Here is a link to the old post showing several images of the venom (now V Mach) vantage 77K

There are plenty of video's on you tube on how to fit a V mach kit..

Sat,
You are an absolute chhupa Mack The Knife! Lovely piece of art you have. Wonder how it is to shoot? Get my drift?
Was wondering if I could drop in a V Mach kit into one of my Diana 350s. Anybody has any lead how to get one?

Katana.... sadly V Mach kits are not available for the 350. i called them up and confirmed. JM had a good ZRT kit for the 350 ....now discontinued. Vortek have kits which are great. I have the 2G kit ( also discontinued !!) on my 350 and it shoots hard and true. I also have a spare PG2 kit...with a spare spring , courtesy Vortek..as stand by. Check the Vortek site, they have a new 135 wire. 37 coil drop in spring with a top hat for the 350. the PG2 kits are brilliant...130 wire and 36 coils. the shot cycle is a dream.
