Got one box yesterday from AGN and my FWB300SJ seems to like them. Their fit in the breach is nice and snug.
Was curious to know what weight they are and why are they dark grey in colour, almost like pencil lead grey ? Is that normal ?

True - Users of MS 0.177 Flat Heads marketed in an Yellow Box seem to agree on its snug fitment in the breech & performance as very satisfactory - consistency in accuracy.
Re: the 'dark grey color' could be because of optimum lead content - Its a known fact that pellet manufacturers add a small quantity of tin / antimony to reduce the excessive softness which is assumed to give the pellets dimensional stability for better ballistic performance.
Pure lead on the other hand could foul the grooves inside the barrel - get deposited in the landings and thus affect propulsion.

The H&N Finale Match and also the RWS R10 that I have seem to have dulled out in color these days. RWS R10 used to be shiny silvery white once. MS (Y) are .49-.50gm with a rare .51gm in between. Tirpassion and I done their weight testing on his superfine ultra-sensitive weighing scale. That thread must be someplace on the forum. Think it was a follow-through to Pratik's original message.
