Relish Sports reliable

I saw this site http://relishsports.com/ , and it's a good enough site, especially when it gets the air gun cleared from Customs. However, I am reluctant to pay four times the price for the same weapon, for example: Crosman M4-177 is $70, which is around Rs 3500 but they sell it for Rs 10,000.

Anyway, i might look for a cheaper air rifle but I wanted to know if they are reliable.

Ahmaq,

You haven't factored in the courier charge of about $100 or more.
Add that and a few bucks as clearing charges and it seems worth it.

I haven't ordered anything yet but might get something. They are pretty prompt in answering queries on the phone.
So far haven't heard anything negative about them.

Ah, yes, that is true. I didn't count the shipping price.

Thanks for that. It seems the best option to get it delivered. I didn't see any restriction on calibre?

Yes, there is a restriction on air rifle/pistol calibre via courier route..If you will look carefully on Relishsports web site, you will see that you can place order only for .177 cal air rifle/pistol...Moreover a shooter ID card is must... Again if you want to become member of a rifle club just to facilitate import of an air rifle then better add membership fee to the total cost of Air rifle.. Even then, I.e. actual cost of Air Rifle + Shipping cost + Air Rifle club membership charge will be far far less than what most arm dealers in India ask for Foreign made cheap air rifles

I don't think a shooter's ID card is MUST, rather rifle club membership is a ''MUST''

I sincerely thank all of you for your replies and generally positive review of the site.

I might order the M4-177, if I manage to save enough money, especially with my other commitments.

Its good that finally you made the right decision .
Relish sports is the place where you will get air rifles and accessories
at reasonable rates. But all the air guns and pellets are of the calibre
Which are allowed in air rifles shooting competition in India.

Friends,
May I request those members who have acquired Air Rifles from relish Sports to kindly share their experiences - good or bad?
Is it a good idea to pay the money in advance and wait for the AR to arrive? Is Relish Sports reliable?
Regards,
Abbas
