Couple of days back i was trying to zero my scope aftr i ran out of GSmith pellet, as the mastershot pellets 5.5mm (both of them roundhead) were not hitting the target. There was a considerable difference in the velocity & impact as the later pellets were hitting way above the target & embedding into the 1inch wooden back stop. On the other hand GSmith pellets were dropping dead after hitting the pellet stopper. And now about consistency of mastershot, it made hole in hole as such pellet hitting on the skirt of another pellet(unusual sight for me)
.Though GSmith pellet looks better but due to its weight and larger skirt dia it gets stuck a lot in the barrel, on the contrary mastershot being lighter in weight and smaller skirt has better flight and flatter trajectory than GSmith. Well regarding consistency...........
