This is an excellent place to start. Hope this answers all the Qs related to and arising out of the subject above. Though dealing with "airgun" it would be covered under gunsmithing. Different treatment for leather/ synthetic piston seal. Good luck.

> You may - But it has to be a Very Very thin coat.
> Else you will wind up with 'diesling' - Burning of the excess grease causing mild explosion & smoke which can damage your seal / cause excess vibration etc.
