Dear IIFgians,

A query (might be termed as silly by some), although I have been plinking for years. I now want to do some serious target shooting (10 Mts AR Competition). Have just turned 40 and from what I have been reading on the forum, people have started pretty early on in life.
Is 40 too old to start competitive shooting ?

All suggestions / opinions welcome.

Anurag.

You can start shooting at any age - so long as you are physically able to handle the firearm in question. So don't over-analyse the 'age factor' and just go to the range and begin your journey :)

- He should be able to handle the pistol/rifle which he is using.
-That kid should be made aware of what an airgun do! If he seems to be responsible to use the gun. He is in for target shooting.
- Foremost he should be tested under guidance of trained perssonel.

This is what I think. :)
