Just got my SBD Mod 200 .22 caliber air rifle from local armory. Its quite powerful, or so I feel. Hits made perfectly upto about 250 feet, using Master Shot Pellets.

I had one in early 90s. Nice weapon , nothing to complain against. Shoots well. Those were manufactured by '' Sushant Das & Bros '' of Kolkata.

Hey nice gun. Barrel looks different and looks very heavy. Stock design almost look like Canon model. Congrats

Thanks everyone..

yeah, the gun is infact a lot heavier than the Ordnance Factory's 12 bore, but shoots very accurately.

It was a small drum placed atleast 200-220 feet, if not 250 feet. Shots were made keeping the pellet drop in mind. There was not much impact on the drum, all it did was a bang sound hitting the drum. Made me happy :D

Hi Thunderstorm
The stock looks gr8 compared to other Indian made air rifle....i will rate 10/10 for the stock only. I would like to know the price for the toy. The range u r talking about is way ahead of IHP .22 cal. Congrats any way, NJOY

Thanks Moulindu :D

It was for Rs. 5500. I tried IHP 35, but this one had better grooves in barrel. I'm pretty satisfied plinking with this gun. Today I shot a bottle cap from 10 mtrs. Accurate and powerful.

This looks quite a bit like my (late) GI Model 65, except for the trigger guard. The barrel too is unusually long ...
