Hi,
A few years back I was in Agra and there i heard about Double Barrled airguns - have never seen them but heard that they were available and in production locally in Calcutta (informed so by a couple of gun shops that i enquired with) - does anyone have any idea on this?
/S/

Building a double rifle is an extremely difficult task and requires the barrels to be regulated to shoot parallel at a certain distance. I would be very skeptical about some amateur gunsmith in Calcutta doing a good job.
That said there is a US gunmaker working on building a bog bore double air rifle based on the Quackenbush designs for hunting small game during archery season in the US. The man's website does not show any pictures of his work but I have asked him for information and shall post it here if I get a response.

That would be nice - and yes i do agree with you that the ones in calcutta might lack what it takes to get the job done but i shall still continue my search nevertheless and if i do come across it then it shall be made known to all here.

Daisy's are not exactly air-rifles in the normal mould! They are BB guns with substantially less power and overall poor accuracy...

it was a failure one.Hence beeman stopped the production. Also both the pellets fired from the barrels can meet at some distance and have a deflection.
