Dear ifgian

Today i received .22 orion precihole air rifle and i have facing problem in barrel.....barrel is not fixing in with receiver loading & unloading condition.....so how to correct this??? Pls. Guide me....may i upload video in tommorow ...

Cannot understand what you are trying to convey - Do you mean that the barrel does not align properly on closing? Or do you mean that upon closing the barrel detent does not hold it closed firmly/ reliably? Please upload photos/ video so we can get a better idea.

If it is defective do not try to fix it yourself as that might void your warranty, in stead contact the dealer you purchased it from and file a claim under the terms of the product warranty.

Dear Jignesh bhai,
Do not take your gun to local gunsmith,it may be void your product warrenty. The better way you immidiately contact to dealer or manufacturer,they will properly handle your querry.
Be patience...

Hmm, looks like something to do with the barrel detent but could be something else. Is the barrel detent made out of steel or is it some synthetic polymer?

You best have it rectified under warranty!

I think your stock screws are loose
Tight both the screws & also check the screw behind trigger

barrel aur receiver ko jo lock karta hai wo hi thik tarike se lock nahi hota hai.....sorry for hindi...all bolt is tighte in good condition.....and i have packed and tommorow send back to dealer aimco ent.....

What you have described in Hindi is called the barrel detent - in most air-rifle's it is a chisel shaped metal (usually) piece that is given tension by a hidden spring. There is a corresponding chisel shaped protrusion at the receiver end. These two pieces hold the barrel closed.


In Diana's the detent is a spring loaded steel ball which mates with the chisel shaped protrusion at the receiver end.



Sending it back to the dealer is the best way forward.

Someone had given an epic explanation behind the name, Precihole.

Precihole = Precision or something like that. Made with expert hands and stuff.

Even BMW Cars comes out with some minor defects from the factory these days.
Best way to rectify these fault is to send back the product to the company stating the defects which make further productions better.....

Wow, amazing comparison. BTW, those defective BMW cars are made in India plant. No one's bothered about quality here. I didn't know that quality control department works when someone points a defect in a product.

Where are the people who spoke about it's tuning and stuff? They said it comes perfectly tuned out of the factory. It seems like those experts forgot to screw some holes.

German cars have no defects my friend.Their manufacturing process is responsible for any that may creep in.Rich people buy them because they are guaranteed to work without exception and the ability to afford such a car separates them from the rest of us who tinker with our average rides.

I am not supporting Precihole or chalta hai attitude but when TATA first introduce INDICA we all know how many problem it has .Even NASA /ISRO also seen face of failure. After so much R&D ,Testing windows 98 crashes in front of Bill Gates
You can’t judge a product by just few initial problems

I wanted to buy this Orion Rifle some time around November end from the dealer of Precihole in Mumbai and was going to ask you about the performance of this rifle. However, I saw this. While it is too early to say anything negative about Precihole's quality, I am a bit alarmed about the trouble you have been through. Certainly one does not expect this, at least not after spending 10K.
