Can anybody explain its working principle? Pellets (bullets?) are looking like real bullets with Rim? what caliber is it? Can anybody import and keep it with them without license? (Sorry! but I am really bombarded with these questions since I saw this).

it is dangerous to scare a goon with a dummy.he can turn violent and may use a knife, then your dummy don't have a chance.
never try this.dr.jk

Dear Milind,

It's a co2 air pistol (cal .177). If you're a rifle club member, you're eligible to import it. There's a clearance procedure that you need to follow. You can browse through airguns section, and you'd get to know.

Attached a vendor pic- if you notice carefully, those are just brass shells, with rubberised girp that hold steel BBs. It's a BB revolver, it doesn't load pellets. .177 4.5mm BBs.

Also, it's not to scare any goons off, or anyone in that case. I am a hobby collector of replica airguns. Once in a blue moon I use them to practice target shooting in my backyard. :)

It's a risk to carry it anywhere outside, or to reveal it in public because they look exactly like the real firearms, and you could fall into trouble. Once I had it on my car seat, and cops were out there for a check. I was asked what gun is it, and the reason why I was carrying it. I just told them I am a rifle club member, and I am going for my practice, and it's an air pistol which doesn't need any license. I showed them my club ID, and customs bill of entry documents (I carry the copies when I am out for practice)-

Bill of entry is a customs document which serves as a proof that you have imported it officially, and not a smuggled piece.

I second that, never bring out a fake gun in any fight as you never know what the other person may pull out and may otherwise use deadly force to counter your threat. As a matter of fact never ever pull out any gun , fake or real, unless you feel threatened is valid to use it. That means you shouldonly pull out your gun when you are committed and mentally ready to use it. Many people have been killed when they try to scare people. Guns should not be used as a scare tactic... Avoid and if so run from the situation specially when you are armed unless you have no option . The gun should be used when you know that your life and that or your loved ones is at stake or you may have to loose something material of high value. Like the old samurai tradition that if the katana is unsheathed it must taste blood....
As far as the working of the the gun the brass bullets have a hole and holds the bb's. No license is required for this as it's an air pistol. The price can only be revealed by our friend who bought it....

Nice gun... N congrats n hey does the gun say it's ok to use steel bb's ... A few good barrels have been spoiled by steel bb's .
