Dear IFG members,
Today I would like to share my 3rd rifle passion of Target shooting,
3. Diana 350 Magnum (Spring) - Power 38 Joules - Caliber .22
Scope: Diana 6-24x42 AO (Front parallax adjustment)
Diana Silencer, Diana Bipod
The most powerful spring rifle 1050 fps
, though not accurate
But when we get use to manage the grip and the recoil its a wonderful rifle to shoot with
Brilliant accuracy with his favorites pellet H+N Baracuda !!!! until 100 Yards

that is good grouping !!
i believe the 350 magnum is a very underated gun . once one gets used to its quirks , it is a great gun and accurate too. yes , my 350 does like the heavier pellets. great going.
shoot safe.......

I've just gifted a 350P in .177 to my son. And believe me , I've got hooked to it! Amazing air gun to handle, and behaves just as you wish to. I've been shooting similar groups at 100 feet with the open fibre optic sights, that too off hand!
BTW, where did you get the 38 joules and 1050 fps in .22 figures? Unless you have modded or tuned it.
With the .177 I don't think it's more than 21-23 joules and 800-900 fps despite what the manufacturer and the general public says. If you use lighter pellets of 5 to 7 grains you might get those velocity figures but at the cost of accuracy. I have been using Crosman premiers and JSB Heavy Exacts at 10.54 grains. Performance is really good with these heavies.
Maybe one day I'll chrony it and get the exact figures.
As an aside, have you been living in Europe and moved to Bangalore recently?

Have had the same experience . Never got more than 900FPS with the .177 350 magnum - the 1250FPS advertised is more or less like the Gamo claims . Gamo claims 1300FPS for some of their models and the fine print says with PBA ammo and with lead ammo its supposed to be 1000FPS !

Was thinking of 'scopeing' my air gun.
Have the following choice:
http://www.bsaoptics.com/scope.aspx?productID=75 , except it has a side focus apparatus rather than on the objective.
or
http://www.hawkeoptics.com/hawke-sport- ... l-dot.html
Both are with me. Was wondering which one to put. Any pointers with experience etc.?

> The HAWKE 3-9 x 50 any day - Clarity of optics & sturdily built - The AO is truly spectacular -
> Suggest you go for a single piece UTG or BKL mount since the 50mm front dia might interfere with the receiver.
> Go for it & enjoy your shooting

I've asked for the RWS Diana droop compensation mount. I did the get the UTG mount but realised that I would have to affix a separate set of rings, so I returned it.

@sibi james : what you see in the pic is NOT a suppressor but a barrel weight.

recently I bought one .177 diana 350P. As most of the person suggest to use 8gr pellet. Here in one post I see some one using 10.54gr pellet & satisfied with its performance. Please suggest the optimum weight that suit 4.5 diana 350.
