Indians For Guns

Hello guys,

I have purchased a new version of tommy(Indian made) Model 600(Although i am not sure because nothing is written on the barrel of any where on the gun, please see the pics and let me know if it so)

It is nicely made,very power full and i must say beautiful 0.22 Air rifle.

I purchased this at my local shop in Kolhapur, It cost me 13000rs. I know it is little bit costly but what can i say its my first airgun and when i saw it i was just...anyways here are the pics




I bought this airgun after trying it out and compared with other indian made air guns. What impressed me is the shear beauty, Its finish, power and most important accuracy.


It has a brass trigger and it takes lot of force to load.



Please let me know if any of you guys have same kind of rifle and if anybody has any experience using this airgun.

Also please guide me on how to train with this rifle(I have already been through the valuable do and don'ts of firearm safety from this website) and will it help me in future if i were to take shooting as sport.

I have a pair of Tommy side levers in .22. Absolute pain to cock and the sights are way off the pellet trajectory. Have saved them for a gunsmithy project, if I ever get around to actually 'doing them up'.

I too bought the same gun G.D Mod 600 2 days back for Rs. 8800/- in Chennai. I like the look & finish. Looks like it's very powerful too. I haven't gone for any outdoor shooting yet.

Could you share your experience with this gun?. Thanks.

Shopkeeper told GD is a child company of U.T.A but I am not sure.

Hey congrates on your air rifle.My experience is really nice this air rifle is really powerfull, I hope you also have
the same experience and if noticed there is an ball instead of lever thats why it loads quickly and smoothly.I came to know that he ripped me off after few days but i really liked the rifle.I never seen such a piece in any other shop and it is accurate too.I used balnca air trap with this but because the this high power rifle it is now bent and trap door is now gone.

And for others this is an break barrel air rifle.

Hey Captain ADI, that truly is a beautiful rifle. But the price the shopkeeper has extorted from u is exorbitant !!!
U should'v tried ur luck in Pune. You'd surely get a better bargain.
Anyways, Ur happy so nothing else matters more.
