Should one be a member of a rifle association/club to procure air rifles?

Buy Indian, nothing is needed.
Buy from abroad, yes if you import via post,no if you bring it yourself.

to procure air rifle locally doesn't need any membership or licence but to import directly .177 cal airguns one needs club membership to clear the customs formality .

i am not a big fan of break barrels. they remind me of the guns we use for balloon shooting in beaches

there are other Indian guns too..
And to get a bam40, u need to be a registered shooter.
if you become one, dude there are so many better, cheaper rifles. getting a chinese also calls headaches, and they can be dangerous. plus tracking shipment gets difficult.

why don't you people suggest an air rifle, cheap and best that i can get in India. has to be accurate and powerful. are break barrels accurate enough?
