Airguns with scopes

Folks,
I ordered a TECHFORCE break barrel .177 air rifle for a friend from Pyramid air and the carton that was shipped had a combo offer. The offer was a free scope with mounts! and was cleared and delivered.
I thought scopes were not allowed along with air rifles/pistols, can someone fill me in ,who have imported both in one consignment?

Waooo surprising !!!

Tough scopes mounted on air gun are banned .....you must be a lucky person or customs might probably not sufficient time to go through the complete verification.

Wish you great usage and nice shoot grouping with your new riffle and scope

Mounted scopes are not banned, they are restricted. There is a difference between banned and restricted.

I think mounted scopes are allowed!! Aren't they!?

Luck seems to be on your side. Very rare for such things to happen. Glad it was cleared without any hassle though.

Some time customs not open parcel fully, just check invoice, and look what caliber and documents.I have imported 3 AR (3 time), they are not opened Rifle box.
Nothing but Complicated!
