Hi All,

As far as my personal experience and comments from the shooters are considered, one can easily conclude that IHP-35 is the most accurate air rifle ( Springer ) for <35 meter targets.
But share your experience with Indian Made Long Range Air Guns..!!

What distance do you consider "long range"?
Compared to centerfire rifles (or even rimfire), airguns are not long range weapons.

30-35 mtrs is the standard average range for an Indian airgun... In that case a rifle which give some considerable grouping in 45-50 mtrs are long range rifles..

In my personal experiance AK SUPER-350 Indian air rifle shoots upto 45- meters, not just flying but it hits the target at that distance with MASTER SHOT round head pellets & pointed head.

I would like to hear from you such experience ,if any...!!

How large is the target at 45 meters? Are you sure is 45 meters (= 147.64 feet) and not 45 feet you are talking about?! If you are knocking off anything (close to) matchbox sized at 45 meters with any Indian made springer, you should seriously consider taking up competitive shooting.

Cheers!

Hi Abhijeet,

Thanks for the comment...if you meant good..hi hi :D
And my AK SUPER 350 shoots 45 meter target, but sure it is not accurate on such long range to hit a matchbox . But can hit a target of 6 meter radious circle.. Sure i missed even the board at times & Wind matters...!! But i think hitting the target in long range is thrilling than 15 meters..!!

I will share the snap from my next game by sunday evening..

hitting the target of 6 meter radius at 45 meter is thrilling? I will prefer shooing all the round in Bulls-eye @ 10. I think no indian gun is capable of hitting @ 45.

Thank you Renjith..
Here with i am attaching my game board i targeted today..
Happy to say that there were no wind to disturb my shot.. :)
And as i was extra conscious, to shoot at least one in bulls eye, position was sitting (gun placed on table & me on chair)
Toy: AK Super 350 ( Still i love my IHP-35 for its accuracy but its with my cousin now.. :( )
Pellet: Diana Shot- pointed ( My ever time favourite ) i managed to get it from Cherthala.
Target: 3 CM diameter circle, marked up to 5 CM ( I used disposable plate to draw the target. as it is reflective, aiming will be little more easier )
Happy to share that this is my ever time best grouping in 45 meters..
My Shot-1.JPG
I was lucky to shoot 3 on bulls eye out of 9
FYI ( this toy is zeroed @ 15 meters by myself )

I dont use any scope its an open site toy..!
I really want to try the same in my IHP but i think AK is more powerful than IHP above 30meters ( at present )
I bought both in 1 week gap..
But the situation is like that i have to buy another IHP for me, because my cousin is having really fun with my IHP and he will not return it... :( He is a beginer but makes nice grouping in 15 meters with IHP..
I think IHP aims the target and we just triger the pellet out.. Its that much accurate..!!

Ramtigger, is there any chance to get any Diana model in Kerala..?

Hello Shooter@ktm,

I will advise you take up competitive shooting. I myself, was a plinker when I started shooting with no ambitions/plans/dreams even in the farthest corner of my mind to go for competitions. Somehow, within a few months my shooter friends brought me in, just for fun in the beginning. The whole scenario changed after that.

Best regards
