How do you intend to fit a front sight on the shroud if you want to use it for 10m comps?
You do know you can reduce the power on the Huntsmans, don't you?

If its a PCP it will help lubing pellets because if you don't, you risk the barrel bore catching rust due to moisture by the air propelling the pellet.

For 10mtr Air rifle shooting the max fps is in the vicinity of 575fps with match pellets.

You might want to try JSB, Crosman, H&N or RWS pellets. Stick to the ones that are the most acccurate.

Congratulations on getting what is arguably the Rolls Royce of PCPs. Take good care of it and shoot safe.

As an example of overcoming adversity, Karoly Takacs has few peers. He was part of Hungary’s world champion pistol-shooting team in 1938, when an army grenade exploded, crippling his right hand. Ten years later, having taught himself to shoot with his left, he won two gold medals in the rapid-fire class.

I wanted to know about the sight too. I am beginner, so don't know much about guns. Which sight can i fix to the huntsman Midas, the kind of used in competition. not that i am entering in one. Can the front sight be changed.

Which pellets should i use. where can i find good quality pellets like from diabolo in India.

Which thread do you want us to reply to? This one or the one in ammo and accessories.
Can't do both

congrats...thats a great looking rifle. PCPs are begining to interest me know and the daystste huntsman classic was what i had in mind. if i could get it in 22 , would jump at it.

how different is the midas as compared to the classic ??? they look pretty similar, except for the trigger blade, the colour of which is different...different metal???

do you use a pump...how difficult is it to bring the tank to the required pressure??

do daystate rifles come with an option for open sights???...they have shrouded barrels dont they.

sorry for the questions...but the daystate hunsman series rifles have me intigued.

"Congratulations on getting what is arguably the Rolls Royce of PCPs."..fantumfan2003 got it spot on there.

shoot safe....
Throw me to the wolves....I will return leading the pack.
