Has anyone on the forum had experience with "Inert Air Piston" or Nitropiston Guns? AN innovation from Remmington that involves replacing the spring with Nitrogen.The cocking action compresses the Nitrogen, which expands to power the piston. I attach a sample-

Observations from veterans and greens alike are welcome.

Nitropiston is none other than gas ram or gas strut that we see on the car rear upward opening doors modified to work on airguns. advantage is they reduce twang and can remain cocked in airguns for hour without loss of power but the cocking effort is more than spring airifles . the spare gas ram is costly than springs .

hello skyman i have walther talon magnum .177 in nitro piston but after swithing over pcp it is like shooting 30 06 rifle it is now only in my gun cabinet regards

@ Shariq...wow man that walther is for serious shooters only! Can you tell me how nitropiston tech compares to springer rifles..? Is it as advantageous as advertised, and any downsides?

@abbas bhai absouletely right pcp model is far superior and accurate but springer and NitroPiston model have their own importance that you can enjoy shooting any where any time just load and shoot pcp have little problems in charging maintance and all
