Indians For Guns

Dear guys..
i wish to zero my rifle (ihp 35 .22) but dont know whats the best range to zero a air gun...i hit targets at about 60 feet.....but now i wanna zero my rifle for better results ........any suggestions would be appriciated ...

i AM SEEKING A METHOD OF ZEROING THE AIR GUN TO A CERTAIN DISTANCE SO THAT I CAN ACCOUNT FOR A PELLET DROP .??? ANY SUGGESTIONS

Try to zero at 10 meters.

If IHP/National is not accurate...which Indian airgun is? I always thought IHP to be the most accurate

You should zero your air rifle for the range you expect it to be shooting at. Most people with springers do it at 25-35 yards.

You will find a variety of good guides on the net, and the IHP itself comes with a small manual with zeroing instructions. I can only add that you have to be consistent with every shot (same position, pellets, location etc) and shoot at least 5 pellets before adjusting the turrets.

Once you have zeroed your sights for one distance, you can start shooting at other ranges and get a rough idea of pellet drop in your gun. I would personally resist the temptation of fiddling with the turrets again, and simply make a note of where to aim

Once you are zeroed and happy, you must remember to occasionally check the zero again

One important thing to me considered " Maintain the same position of the gun shot after shot" or else you will spend days and days turning V & E.
