Hi friends,
anyone using a daisey avanti 753, mine is coming in two days. I bought it to understand what is a peep sight and use it at my convinience.
If I am not wrong it has a peep sight. And a good starting air rifle for competitions also , on cost basis only.
Waiting for your valuable inputs.
Regards.

I have heard that it is a good one to start for competition purpose. The Pyramid people will always recommend you this, the reviews are also quite good.

Thanks BDG,
The reason for feeling low was very simple it’s a low value starting A/R for beginners.
Whenever I visit shooting range, mostly at the time of competition guys are using walther/ fwb and similar stuff. But I opted for 753 just to understand peep sight. I seriously want to peruse air pistol shooting and not air rifle but definitely want to know how it feels to shoot an A/R with peep sight.
I got my Avanti 753 yesterday, I fired two pellets there was absolutely no recoil and hardly any sound. First I thought the gun is not working but to my surprise the pellets indeed exit the barrel. The front and rear sights are not fixed on the gun, they came separately so I need to fix them. And check for working and accuracy.
I once again request all friends here to help me understand Avanti 753.
Thanks & Regards.

I understand from a recent exchange of mails with a senior guy from Pyramyd air that Avanti 753 and 853 are the best rifles to start of competition shooting. Ofcourse in the range you will see that people using Walther, FWB etc but if you talk about value for money Avanti is there. Once you are through with some small level competitions, then you can ofcourse look for the walthers.
Can you post some groups achieved by the avanti? How accurate is the gun?
