1.Hi folks yesterday while plinking i started to refill my daystate classic with my fx 4 stg pump from 200 bars onwards.after abt 5 pumps there was a mighty bang and the connection broke apart/came off.i tried again but the pump is dead in the sense there is no air filling in the rifle, the manometer is stuck at zero and i can hear air leaking.the airrifle is holding pressure as was earlier and also firing correctly ,similarily the pump is also drawing and expelling air when checked unconnected but i cant refill the airrifle.is it that the female coupling has become useless resulting in air leakage and non filling of air.please advice.
2. i am based at roorkee can i have contact address/tele of any member who owns a pcp and a pump based at roorkee, haridwar or dehradun so that i can check my airrifle which i shouldnt think is faulty by filling it up. i can then get another coupling/washers imported.thanks

dear andy,
your adaptor must be leaking or your distant valve isn;t working.
change your adaptor maybe.

Check the fill probe opaque O ring, generally if dry will get damaged & will blow up while insertion.

I have same kind of fitting( 1/2 inch quick connect parker fitting) which are rated & tested for high pressures. you will find nipples which can be pressed on both male & female, the O rings lie beneath them unless ur fitting is different from inside. use silicon grease if possible. it would be nice if you could take pics of the insides of both male
& female fitting that will be be great help to solve ur problem.

Gr8 Pics buddy, now in the 2nd last pic u can see the nipple & underneath the nipple should be the O ring. u need to open from the other end, the small fitting will come out with a spring ( which operates the nipple), u will see the damaged O ring & replace. Generally if the O ring explodes it remains in place & only a small part will go to the compartment where the male fitting sits. By the way the FX pump is rated for 250bar, I generally pump my Gladiator to 200bar only.please note too much grease or oil is also not recommended as the O ring will slip out of the grove & get stuck.
