what should be the format etc for a sale letter for selling a air rifle to anyone since one must carry a receipt for records for such sales as airrifles are quite powerful with rimfire velocities and hence the seller must make it clear that the ownership of the airrifle has changed hands to avoid any complications later. also unlike licenced firearms no records are maintained by the local civil adminstration of such sales as airguns dnt require licences.thanks

In private sales, I use a simple word document with the addresses/names of buyers sellers, date and price. Since the stuff is second/third/fourth hand, sales taxes don't usually apply. If I buy or sell from a dealer, I get a detailed receipt anyway.
If you want a detailed dossier, you can make one up yourself. Please note: If you use your arms license booklet for this, you will get in trouble.
