Ingredients
==========

A .177 cal air rifle that shoots one hole groups
Scope rail on air rifle
Peep sight and tunnel fore sight

The dish........

Image

Not exactly yummy...but better than nothing.

Oh yes...and don't believe anybody's bullshit that a springer cannot shoot good scores. A 10mtr PCP will beat it hands down but remember its the shooter not the gun.

MOST IMPORTANTLY FOCUS ON ENJOYING SHOOTING AND NOT ON THE SCORE

Keep pictures at 600x400 for it to fit .... 600 max width.

Good thing there FF... keep it up...may I ask what make is the springer?

regards,
cc

Nice manish.. But one reason they fix the rear sights on springers at the base of the barrel is that, there is usually some movement where the barrel breaks! maybe you could look for a side lever or underlever with a tap loading system.. Meanwhile I am sure you are having fun!

Its a Diana 24 .177 caliber break barrel doing about 500fps deliberately to keep vibrations to a minimum and hence improve the shot cycle.

Jonah,

Yes indeed some makes of break barrels do suffer from this malady especially IHP but it can be largely rectified. Of course a side lever or an underlever will not have that problem.

Yup its great fun.......

Good on you Fantumfan. There is no reason that a properly designed and built Springer cannot be accurate at 10 meters. My Diana 27 was a phenomenally accurate gun at ranges quite a bit more than 10 meters.

xl_target,

Thanks. Wish we had our apex shooting bodies here doing a CMP like splendid job and then we would have been in a much better shape.

If anyone wants to buy a set of front and rear sights, you may go for one of these depending on your budget.

There are more better and expensive ones...but they are very expensive to procure.

Good one, Fantumfan. Is it a new addition to your collection ? Soon can we hope to see a picture of thy guns ? In the interim, Happy Shooting with the Lady.

Life's suddenly keeping me busy - just when I thought I was all set for retirement. :-(
