Importing Sig Sauer Airsoft Gun

Hello Friends

I am new to this IFG forum and i've really really started to like this place. A really cool place for Indian gun lovers.

Well, i need some advice from you all. I have placed an order for an AIRSOFT gun with Pyramidair. The model is: Sig Sauer P226 X5.
The gun is full metal, co2 powered and shoots only BBs. I have also placed an order for a pack of plastic BBs.
Now, the problem is that I am not a member of any rifle club/association in India. So, will it be a problem for me to import the airsoft gun? Is it a must to have a membership in order to import aisoft also? Please help me in this case and i'm eagerly waiting for your replies.

Well as far as legality is concerned you're importing an airsoft gun and not an SIg Sauer, or Beretta, or Colt or anything. remains to be seen if the white brigade chaps will see it that way.

Did you finally get your CO2 delivered by Pyramidair. Please share your experience.I am also planning to place an order for one but there are so many mixed opinions and I really dont know what to do.I really dont want to spend around 5-6K only to get my stuff getting siezed by the customs.It would be great if you can share your experince.
