Trust me. Went through all the posts but was not able to find an answer for my query. So, here I go. Planning on importing an airgun. Contacted Straightshooters in this regard. I was told that the airgun could not be shipped in the case I had selected. The case in question was a regular Doskocil case. I was told that the airgun would be shipped separately with the action removed from the stock and then the case I wanted would also be shipped but as a separate package. This I was told was being done due to size restrictions on international shipments. Could members who have imported recently shed some light on this please.

i haven't imported any directly.but i doubt its done the way you said.
