IMHO .0000002 cents worth. Both are toys, and niether worth the prices prevalining in India for them.
You want a pistol, apply for a license, jump throught he hoops and get an Ashani.

If you mean the Umarex versions of these pistols, it's the Walther CP88 any day. The Berretta is too bulky and has a long trigger travel which throws off your aim, while the Walther is rather compact and well weighted.

However It gives a sensation of holding a real handgun in just Rs 30-40k.

I agreed.Yet I didnt handle any cp88,the 92fs has long trigger travel ,could be difficult during rapid firing but quite ok while loading hammer manually (single shot).

Actually no. Either one would have very different charachteristics ranging from trigger pull to recoil. Not to mention accuracy.
The Beretta in 9mm Luger is a better handling gun than the P88 which is the compact version of the 88. The latter remains more desirable due to its rarity rather than functionality.
Niether of the real guns actually feel anything like their CO2 counterparts.

The Beretta 92fs CO2 gun has a fantastic heavy feel of the real firearm. The cp88 weighs less and looks more of a toy. Many say that cp 88 is easy to carry and handle. But in the looks wise and accuracy, Beretta is the Best !! Go for beretta and you'll never regret !

Guys don't waste your money on some co2 s**t. They costs a fortune here (Around 30K to 40K) while their actual price is around 4K, Thanks to Indian customs babu
Just add 20K and get a real one. Trust me, those "khitik" "khitik" would never match the real bang! bang!
BTW could anyone please if .177 air pistols' like this one banned in India?

IIRC they are not 'banned'. A couple of importers I spoke with, imported them under the classification 'Toys' or 'Toy Guns'. This I believe was done stating the fact that these guns cannot discharge 'lead pellets' like an air gun and only fire plastic bbs and dont fall under the classification of air guns per se. As you know, interpretation of the law is as clear as mud in our country.
However, in my opinion I would bracket them a slot higher than a toy, as they discharge a projectile which even if not lethal has the potential to injure. But that in no way condones the banning or restricting of an entertainment grade scale model of a firearm, which shoots plastic pellets. Heck, left to their whims, they'd ban slingshots
.
By the way, getting the CO2 or Green Gas to power them is a chore, but that's another story(just a search away on the forum); in case anyone is interested.

Good luck

I was talking about the Beretta 92FS replica that fires .177 lead pellets.
