Re: Finally My Canon65 arrived
That screw is actually locking your stock with the cylinder. If you have to remove the action from the stock . You have to unscrew it apart from two others in the front. The way the cut the group in the pistol grip , its my guessRamMani wrote: One doubt ,what is the purpose of the screw in the pistol grip?
Congrats and enjoy it safely and carefully.
Thanks and Regards,

How is the stock quality and looks when compared with IHP?

Compared with IHP
Canon is heavy and for small frame body, holding will create pain at forearms after 10 shoots.
I inclined towards IHP comparing the fit and finish,
my tuned IHP bangs superbly. only bending modification is,the breach seal is to be changed.
I purchased Canon for my young son in law ( aged 13 ),but I handed over to my friend due to heaviness,
plan to purchase a IHP25(177) for him.
My calling over phone to the AeroTech indus., were well responded and 3 nos LG65 were shipped within one month .
My opinion is a tuned IHP will give best results.

Re: Finally My Canon65 arrived
Ravi,
Your 13 year old nephew i guess. If you have a 13 year old son-in law you could be getting yourself in to mighty big trouble .
I have a Canon 65. The screw you had a doubt about does not hold the cylinder. It holds the peep sight (I wonder why on earth they needed such a long screw).
Canon is sweet when tuned.

There is a tread by PK Jeetesh on Canon vs IHP.
