Pcp Airrifle Real or fake ?

Hi Guys ,
Few days ago i came across a Pcp sale in sale forum and found the below picture of Evanix Ar6 0.22 cal Pcp by its owner and some how it didn't make me to sense as original .Lets people on IFG who own this rifle shall comment to clear my doubt.

Is this the marking that comes from the company/manufacturer or a "Darra" make

I have both the versions bought from Pyramydair. The first picture is of an older version of AR6 which is non-shrouded. The second picture you have posted is of the shrouded version as u can see. The older versions were stamped with the model name AR4 and AR6 to differentiate between 177 and 22 calibers.
the breech was simply marked only AR as it is common size. The 4 and 6 were stamped later on. The Koreans later on started using the laser printing which you see in the new shrouded version.

Some one who would take the pain of duplicating an already cheap Korean gun would also take the pain and make sure the lettering etc is also accurate and wont make such a mistake which a child can make out.

this is genuine 5.5 cal air rifle
i have confirmed with evanix with serial no which is 1857051
evanixmailed me and confirmed it as 5.5 mm version

Hello sir,
I had purchase one AR6 airgun serial number DL1857051
in march 2010 from Pyramid Air USA. some of my friends doubts that it is .177 cal gun with .22 barrel attached,
this harms authencity of my gun ,
it is requested that pls confirm it by serial no,that it is .22 or .177cal
in the gun part ar6 and 5.5 mm is engarved similar as picture in p.a. and other site and same as evanix .com .
pls i need ur help

yes old non shrouded version is marked this way
now new shrouded version has new marking
my bro wants to clear all this
but his user name is manualy blocked by admin
that too without any reason and any warning
he mailed to webmaster @indiansforgu but no response
it is good to doubt any body but some reason is required and pl -pls give him atlest one chance to proove him self innocent
that what our honourable court done to kasaab the terrorist also
and he is not that much gulity as kasaab i think

and u will find video footage in 1:41 ,2:02 to 2:08 and 3:31 to 3:41 runtime of that video ,that of ar 6 and 5.5 mm marking same as on this gun,and pls dont say that evanix or pyramid air sent fake gun to paul capello
and last but not least paul is no friend of mineand my bro and we do not have any business link or partnership with him

Hi Magestic,

Its tuktuk who started it all. First he stated that he got it by post froM pyramid air, Then in next post he added about fake and real barrel without any provocation, then when members asked how can one get .22 vide post, he stated that the same has been brought by a friend and custum official say...... Come on Magestic say something on that.

after posting for sale some member asked/doubt me by p.m. or phone about its originalty and to make it clear i posted about it original status-whats wrong in this ?
i am trying to make every thing clear for would be buyers-whats wrong in this?
some member asked how i got it imported?
answering this this question is not mendatory ,
how many saler of air rifle ,pellets ,and scope is questioned about getting pellets scope and .22 air rifle in india
even than i answered how i got this-it is not possible to name the friend in custom and in usa who help me getting/clearing this.i hope u understand,
and what about manualy blocking my bro username any reason and chance or warning for this not given,as far i remember i offered to forward mail from evanix and p.a.to would be buyer,pls tell me what more i can do to make every thing clear,

Its simple and you also accept. Your brother got it by post not courier which he claimed later with a stupid story, custum wala said please carry it and where is the pump sir... and so on. Now you come with emails claiming it to have come by post. Hope the same are genuine and you will not later turn with boarding pass claiming to have brought it in baggage:) By the way claiming it has come .177 route... what you are trying to explain

if u ever deal with p.a. u must know that p.a. never shipps 5.5 mm air rifle to india,
so i ordered in name of usa base friend -its simple
than one freind brings it in india in baggae-its simple
i never said by post -its simple
i said imported by p.a.by this i mean bought by p.a. -its simple,
if i want to mislead some one by saying imported from p.a. i never ever stated it because it is not required,
this is not ordered by post and as i remember i never stated it this way,pls clarify where i mentioni t bring in india by post
i have tried my best to make it all clear ,if not enough let other think what they want

For me the gun looks like genuine. Best wishes for your sale. You have already mentioned your friend Mike bought it and came as a checkin baggage. The recipient address in US of A is Mike Melick one of the gun tuner who also runs his own store. So you mean to say now Mike (your friend)came all the way from America to India to deliver this gun to you?

Anyhow, some unscrupulous persons have been illegally importing .22 cal air-rifles via post/ courier in connivance of some FedEx employees etc. Anyone buying from such person(s) is advised that if and when this racket is busted (which it will be eventually), the dealer will go to jail but also they (the buyers) may end up with the short end of the stick!

We have always and continue to try to keep such dubious people OUT of our FORUM - PERIOD!
