there is many thing to know and follow, Abhi took 12 years to adjust his position, what I have seen is that even shooters who been on national level or even been sponsored do not have correct idea about shooting position.
here is two main differences lower position of rifle and high position of rifle, most target air rifles comes from factory meant to be used in lower position. this good stable position, but you have to bend your neck to the sights. so nowadays nobody from top competitive shooters are using lower rifle position any more.
suppose you are having your own rifle then you can start fixing it with elevated sights etc. In my experience till you get your rifle properly fixed - 100% properly, all training is just mechanical, it will NEVER bring you to your goal to shoot 10s only. Why? Because you cant keep all variables involved in releasing your shot constant, if your rifle did not provide you such opportunity. That is very serious question, many good shooters dropped competing, just because they got stack in score around 385- 390. and it is becasue they never actually train to shoot 10s only, If all things with your rifle fixed then only you can train on releasing 10s only.
10m air rifle very technical sport, gain from 360 to 390 is in body movement control from 390 - 400 in rifle adjustment and rifle position, many many shooter never made that 390-400. to adjust rifle incredible difficult task, why? because so many parameters are interlocked. for example you do more then 6 clicks on rare sight and you need to adjust check piece.
you can always buy Ways of the Rifle book and try to figure out it yourself.
