Just did a chrono on my IHP. Below are the results. It would be interesting to see the results once the rifle has passed 1000 shots and the spring is lubed again.

Sl No Pellet Brand & Wt in Grains
1 Master Shots Wads- 8.2 grains
FPS Ft Lbs
a 581 6.15
b 576 6.04
c 591 6.36

2 H&N Match Finale- 8.18 grains

a 606 6.67
b 602 6.58
c 608 6.72

you can cut the spring yourself, all you need is a jewelers file (not the very small one but a little larger).

Hi Ebezener, Did you cut the coils as you wanted ? Did it help in any way ?

The other day, I put in a thin sponge sheet (the one you get with a packed polo Tee Shirt) in lieu of bedding and also some Lithium based grease (one inch toothpaste-on-brush quantity or so) on the visible main spring. Dampened the shock impact on the wrist. Power, of course no change - the pellet travels 10m, cuts the paper target but does not flatten out (like shot from AR) in the pellet trap. May be due to grease the power appears to have dipped a bit.

I guess the velocity shall increase a bit more with time, may be it will touch the 650 mark easily.

Bought the .22 today.
SHoots pretty straight.

I want to start target shooting, but they were asking 60K for a Diana.
AM going to import one as soon as I join a Club.
Planning to join the Siri fort one.

Looking for threads for club membership now

Hi Guys

IHP .22 pistol is available for nearly Rs3000 at aimco online shop, would like to know if the price is right and most importantly what is the quality of riffling in it, and does it make it any better with other desi unrifffled stuff in matter of velocity and accuracy, and how sturdy it is made, like if it is capable of taking some abuse ??

Regards
Frosty

Hi,

At last after playing years with my MarkMan .22 pistol,i got some real rifle. Recently bought IHP 35 .177 , seems quite powerful and serves my purpose well. After firing about 100 shots it has become much smoother n better.

Further at last i got hold of MasterShot to courier me Round heads export quality , but since they take orders of min 12 boxes i.e. 6K pellets its sure i would be on fire always for at least couple of coming months.... Guys i got to know one site to print custom target boards : http://www.mindflow.com.au/targets/ . This has lot of configurations and generates PDF for easy prints...

Thanks to all members for sharing their thoughts and providing info on dealers and performance for different guns....

I am zeoring my gun with help of Youtube Pyramid videos, soon would check the MasterShot round head export quality accuracy and would get back to you....

As of now i am using the two 500 pcs modern shot boxes bought from Art Craft for Rs. 150 each. They are OK types of pellets....
