Hi Timmy,
> Thank you for your response :D
> Rudra since he was 6 years old used to watch me tune & maintain my ARs....Later he began asking as to when am I going to teach him to shoot?
> I thought the time was right when he turned 13.....after having attended a few trekking camps through his school...where he learned to pitch a tent, chop firewood, light a fire, ride a horse & some plinking!!!!
> He is a good swimmer too!
> Last week-end's trip along with IFGians Ankesh & Kshitij to him was almost a dream come true....
> They began by inducting him first on 'safety', holding an AR, the grip, stance, breathing, sighting, trigger pull & follow through....
> Like a fish taking to water he fortunately got all these in place....the result 8 times on target out of 10 :D
> Rudra likes the outdoors & wants to be a 'paleontologist' :D
> He is right now in the 7th Grade & has 3 more years to go before he enters college....
> Maybe next year he should qualify to be an IFGian.....what do you say?
Briha

@brihaji,
I'd say bring him in sooner. The kids is a natural. Also he is a fast learner and good fun too. Would love to have him accompany me for 10m practices too if possible :)

@essdee, I wouldn't mind trying out a coupla machetes for some bush clearing on site. Do bring them along :)

Brihaji, the boy's performance tells me that you know best about this matter. After all the years of work and worry, this is one of the great rewards life affords you: to shape and share in the life of opportunity and promise that is part of being young. All I needed to do was glance at that photo to share a little of your joy and pride. Our younger members know about this, but they can't really know it until their turn with a grandchild comes.

Thanks so much for sharing -- I've been feeling good since I saw it and your telling about Rudra makes the picture come alive!

It was awesome having Rudra on board. Truly @birhaji the pleasure was all ours. He has a lot to learn from your experience and will pick it up fast.

The only way we can do true justice to our passion is by passing our skills on to someone else. At the end of the day, that's what it's all about.

Brihaji, try it on the PC if you are unable to open on the tapatalk app. Or vice versa.
The link opens either ways for me.
Have noticed that you face this problem in many video links...
