Mahesh,
The CO2 capsules are available off and on from most gun shops in Bangalore.
Yes, please bring pellets along with the pistol as good pellets are hard to get in India. For the sort of pistol you are interested in only buy wad-cutters (flat head / match pellets).
Whilst 2000 pellets may be the official limit, friends and my brother have not had a problem bringing back ten tins of 500 pellets at a time. That's a decision you will need to make.

Mahesh,
If the customs want to see what that boxes of dense metal is, then probably you got to pay duty on those, keep the bill handy. And as far my experience goes, they really don't care how many tins you have, 4 or 10 doesn't make much difference.
I have myself got 20 tins on one occassion without any problems..

by the way Mahesh,
Where are you located in Germany, Munich by any chance, I will be there on Friday. And which air pistol are you looking at?
And in anycase, make sure that there is a 'F' Marking in a pentagon on the pistol, which you would know signifies that you do not need any papers for that- This is only while you are flying out of Germany/Europe, because they would check your stuff there once.
Regards
Ranjeet

Bon Voyage, Ranjeet. Suggest you leave a bit early as security has been hightened at the airports today. Call the airline to confirm.
Mahesh you can see the 'F within a pentagon' on my HW45 thread.

Oh shit!!! They are going to throw you behind bars.
Nice knowing you. Byeee!!!
Mahesh, don't get spooked. Bring your air-pistol and act confident at all times. Just don't get cocky or rude. Customs hate that sort of attitude.
The precautions are for out going flights (they are expecting a hijacking. Or atleast that is what I thought I heard), so you have nothing to worry about. Inder is going to jail though. FIVE knives!!! Surely a terrorist of the first water.
