I have noticed that the recent batch of Gsmith pellets are a little darker than earlier - anyone get a chance to weigh them in yet.

Sorry for crashing this thread.

Anyway, regarding some pellets not fitting inside .22 indian made rifles...

I have a caliper
I have some pellets
I have a AK 500 .22 rifle

Here is the problem I have found after measuring with the caliper.

All these pellets are of the same thickness. The problem is their length. Imported pellets are a bit longer. Imported rifles have a deeper hole. Contrary to this, indian made pellets are shorter. Indian made rifles also are designed for these indian made pellets. So if you put imported pellets inside indian rifle, the skirt will be sticking out because the heads cannot go further inside. If you use a tool to push it inside, it starts getting deformed and squeezing inside the rifled barrel. Maybe I'll post some pictures later.
