Re: PreciHole AirGun Review
Dear SriramK,
I had first copied/pasted because I thought there were 66 pages in that thread and a link would not lead the readers to the particular Page 65. But then I noticed that the thread can lead to the exact page and hence I have deleted the copied/pasted matter and provided the thread for the readers to go through it.
You are right. Instead of providing review on the accuracy of the PH air rifles , some people hijacked the thread and started promoting the said air rifle.
I had just questioned Mr Joy's over-enthusiasm on the matter of PH air rifle, and lack of any response over my question on not mentioning the serial numbers on invoices sold to aimco customers.
I have every right to bring the matter of serial number over this thread. If Mr Joy can mention in detail, the wooden 100% safe packing etc., and that first fifty air rifles were on promotional discount etc., why can't I mention the lack of serial no. on invoice? If a renowned senior member can mention how an IHP of Rs.7000/- will require tuning worth 3000/-( costing total 10,000/-) to become a match for PH air rifle, why did not you stop him by saying that he was hijacking the topic?
MY point is this. Whosoever be the dealer, if they sell an IHP or PreciHole Air Rifle, they must mention the serial number of the concerned AR in the Invoice itself, irrespective of whether it is mentioned in warranty card or not.
Regards,
Abbas
And, BTW, I was on a religious trip from 22-11-12 to 28-11-12, that is why I could not read the posts or reply to any of them.

Re: PreciHole AirGun Review
1. Mr. Joy was commenting on the price of a Precihole, it is related to the Precihole
2. If Mr. Joy comments about packaging of the Precihole, it is related to the Precihole
3. The cost of tuning an IHP to make it match a Precihole is directly linked to Precihole's quality.
Is the lack of serial number on your invoice for a Precihole? It's for an IHP. It is related to Mr. Joy, and not to Precihole. You are welcome to contact Mr. Joy Biswas directly about this. He's been courteous when you told him this earlier in this thread. Make a call and rectify the situation.
If you want to add on community pressure and think it achieves anything, then you're welcome to start a new thread (Maybe a "Missing serial number in Aimco invoice").
Have you contacted Mr. Joy via telephone and failed to get a response?
If you check the last few posts just before this one, you'll see that I have indeed asked that the topic be brought back on track, and Mr. Joy agreed. It wasn't just me who asked that the topic be brought back on track.
Price, availability, quality, comparisons are all part of a review. Complaints about poor service from a dealer on a different product is not. If your complaint was about a missing serial number on a Precihole invoice, it would still be partially valid in this thread.
Mr. Abbas, please contact Mr. Joy via telephone tomorrow. If you don't have his contact number, it's available in this forum. If you can't find it, I'll gladly look it up for you if you send me a private message asking for it. I know Mr. Joy has disabled his private messages in this forum, or I'd have suggested you contact him instead. We're all here to share our experiences and get the best out of life. But there's a place for everything, and this thread is for Precihole and things related to it.

Re: PreciHole AirGun Review
OK , Dear SriramK,
This thread belongs to reviews on Precihole Air Rifles. So be it.
Kindly go through the following thread;
http://www.indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19207
Today, namcmd , in this thread, questions the quality of the so-called "worldclass" Orion PH AR and says that the quality is just like a china -made air rifle.
Since you are very prompt in responding, kindly post your valuable comments on the ' live review' on Orion world class precihole air rifle by namcmd.
You can notice the quality if you watch closely - the images posted by him. It appears that it is 5 years old.
SriramK, I understand that you are very much excited to buy the PH AR. Believe me , I was also excited and almost ready to buy an Orion for myself, although I own an IHP. But, heavy lobbying by certain people and hole-in-hole accuracy claims made me suspicious.
I would also love to see a world class air rifle developed in India. But I advise you not to jump to conclusions. Do not be the first to buy it.
There was a member who had posted that in a shooting competition held last month, 5-6 shooters had taken part with their Precihole ARs. He had mentioned that the performance of those ARs was very poor. If you are interested, I can search and provide you with that link.
You might also be aware with quality of the PH AR received by Jignesh Sir.
So my suggestion is : wait , watch, ensure that it is truly world-class , and then only buy it.
Regards,
Abbas

Re: PreciHole AirGun Review
namcmd doesn't like synthetic stocks. I don't know why he went for the Precihole. His breech seal seems problematic, I think he needs to get it corrected, which is not a big issue. The adjustments on the rear sights do seem to be problematic, and I hope he just got a bad piece. We'll get to hear more from people when there are more of these rifles out there

Re: PreciHole AirGun Review
Yes I agree with you.
namcmd got a bad piece by chance. Jignesh Sir also got a bad piece by chance. All this, after we have seen the Inventor himself tighting the nuts of the PH AR with a screw driver - in an image posted by someone here in this forum.

Abbas

Re: PreciHole AirGun Review
That's horrible. Take it back and ask for a replacement. It's clearly a faulty rifle. You still have your warranty.namcmd wrote:Now, after 100 shots no air coming from chamber. my 9k gone...!!!!

Re: PreciHole AirGun Review
Wont they replace it? What do you mean they give the same? Is it still faulty after they fixed it? We should move this discussion to your thread on the Orion insteadnamcmd wrote:Yes, but they again give the same...

Re: PreciHole AirGun Review
Could you post some more pictures of the problem? Why's no air coming out? Is the spring/piston damaged? Where are the other 5 rifles from? What was the fault in them? Same as yours?
I'd really appreciate a more detailed summary of the problems you're facing and the faults with your Precihole.
What I don't understand is that even before you purchased the Precihole, you said you didn't like how it was made. Why did you buy it?

You should have gone for the IHP, it's cheaper

Re: PreciHole AirGun Review
you are right sriramK , he was not happy with precihole and always suggesting IHP in that post and he bought same so not sure how much reliable his review or experience is, I was actually taken back on decision of buying precihole AR after his feedback. though I feel , I should go by by TenX's original review but now certainly like to wait more till this gun settles in market.SriramK wrote:Could you post some more pictures of the problem?
