Can you help me out, whats the address / email or phone of the manufacturers of the Canon 65 - .22. Did you fix the scope mount yourself or is it factory fitted?
Thanks.
i need this information too.
Take a look at this
http://www.indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=329
You can ask the manufacturer himself about the mount / rail. You can also ask for the name and contact of a dealer who can send it through freight. Last time i called i got the contact no. of Olympic sports, no. 03322366657 & 03322367996. They can send the air rifle.Call them. Best of luck.

Hi everyone!
My dad bought an International arms(Indian made) air rifle way back in 1990 for Rs.1200,and over the years it has served me very well indeed.I have shot many vermins(rats, mice and crows ),although I havn't always used head shots, and most of my shots were within 30 meters. If you can get hold of one,it would be worth every rupee paid.
Regards,
Rohan

Re: Best Indian made Air Rifle for pest control..
I'm in Bangalore and there is a huge monkey menace. Monkeys come into the house and wreck havoc. Baby monkeys enter the house and open the latch of windows to let the adults in. They break open garden taps for water. Ruin all the plants, eat the fruits from the trees, break car wind shield, attack children and domestic help, Steal cloths and vessels, etc.
BBMP, the corporation is unable to do anything. We hired private agencies which captured the monkeys for Rs.500 each ( was pooled by the whole layout) but monkeys returned in no time.
Was wondering if I could scare them with an air gun. Fire crackers have no effect. Electrified fences are not an option.

Whatever you do, DON'T shoot the monkey's - It is against the law! Nope not even with an airgun, sorry for being a damper, but I'm afraid you will need to find an alternate method to control this menace.
Cheers!

Completly Agree With Abhijeet even when i was in bagalore i faced the same issue , we used to lock the doors and wait patiently till they leave . i am completly against killing or hurting them with gun let us be sensible and use some Humane ways to scare them away coz they too have the right to live

Agreed santosh,
Yet I wonder how come right to live only goes for those animals which we don't eat
If don't think checken are member of naxalite movement and neither are sheep , goats and buffalos yet their right to life is taken without a written permission from the state.
Pun intended.

Good question Eternalme
they have the right to live
Atleat we kill them to eat, and dont use a gun to do so just because we own one

Eternalme, my point was not about right to life, it was to do with the fact that shooting monkeys is NOT LEGAL... the only vermin that can be legally killed for pest control are crows & rats.

Assuming these Bangalore monkeys are the brown ones...How about using the Langur monkey like they do here in Delhi, seems the brown monkeys do not frequent areas where the langurs are taken around. Apparently it seems to be a thriving business here.
