Sorry - picture file size is 1.16 MB, need to set the camera to 640 x 480 pixels and try again.
Anyway, very tight groups both at 25 m and at 10 m it was a tack driver again. Good shooting. Pellet was the 16 grain GAMO Pro Magnum.
Once this experimet is successful will post pictures of the GAMO scope as well.

Btw I am seriously considering the Diana 52 but trying to bring down the price a bit!
What price does a Diana 52 command in India ? There wouldn't be too many of these in India, I guess, where the bread and butter Air Rifle and the benchmark for all standards is Diana 35.
Diana 35 commands impressive premiums in India, considering the fact that it is being sold for Rs. 35,000 and there are takers at that price.

I don't think D52 is priced less than D35 anywhere in INDIA. Yep equal may be.. Air gun prices are driven more by Phoren Maal mentality rather then what they actually cost. I've been quoted 65K for Diana 54 and same for BSA super sport and 45K for HW97 in north.

Approximately 800 ft./sec. for a 12 ft.lbs. version.What is the velocity in fps for this HW 100 in . 177 calibre?
In the Dubai, you may be able to get the FAC version.
They have also added a carbine barrel length version to their standard barrel length version.

I believe the HW 80 is the same gun as the Beeman R1 - but has lowered power levels (and a different stock design) to suit the European market... is this why Beeman R1's seem to be listed at higher prices than the HW 80's? Or is there some other reason?
Cheers!

P.S. - OT but for those who have not been there, check out old man Beeman's personal website at http://www.beemans.net - lousy graphic design and usability (probably maintained by the man himself), but lots of interesting trivia and articles there....

Re: HW 80 / 85
Abhijeet,
The HW80/k can reach the same power levels as the R1. The power on '80k is restricted deepending on the country it is sold in.
The R1 has an extended fore-end stock that covers the breech block.
The reason for the higher cost is most probably transportation and import duty.
